Ground Zero is the location at which the CRS team originally arrived on the test planet, and is also the site at which the IPaCCA project was initiated, with the activation of a carbon dioxide factory on site. Due to the extreme weather and ultraviolet radiation at this altitude and latitude, it is hostile to life.
